Passurt 24 Co., Ltd. is based in Kumamoto City, and administers car/bicycle parking area and provides parking administration consulting service.
We are positively working on application of IT technology to develop safe and comfortable community by constructing parking lot management system with on-line connection system and by providing search system of parking spot.
Kumamoto City with a population of about 700,000, is located at the center of Kyushu.
The population increased about 10% in these past 10 years and use of bicycle increased as development of urban area is progressed. Meanwhile, illegal parking is becoming a social issue since it causes problems such as blocking traffic in shopping street.
Kumamoto City built parking space for about 7000 bicycles/motor cycles in the city during 2011 - 2012.
Passurt 24 Co., Ltd. is cooperating with Kumamoto City as a private business operator.
Installed a total of 57 cameras including fixed type outdoor camera WV-SW314 and pan/tilt outdoor camera WV-SW172 in 11 bicycle parking areas in the central region of the city.
An average of 5 network cameras per bicycle parking area and the management system are connected to the support center via VPN provided by NTT.
Network camera is used as a core management tool that covers whole parking area.
The support center uses integrated management software WV-ASM200 in combination with extension software WV-ASE202 to utilize the multi-screen function that displays video from 25 cameras.
Video data from the cameras are simultaneously recorded on network disk recorder WV-NV200 series.
Gateway of parking area can be checked at the support center and it also can be opened and closed using remote control from the support center.
By using this system, we can smoothly deal with troubles regarding to using fee.
Since we can check live video from network camera and recorded video at the support center, staff arrived for an emergency or staff at the support center via an intercom can smoothly carry out conversation and these resulted in improvement of customer satisfaction and acceleration of problem solution.
