Panasonic ONVIF Configuration Tool is the software that is designed to configure the ONVIF settings of network cameras using a PC via a network.
This tool enable you to configure the ONVIF settings of network cameras via a network.
3. Operating Environment
3-1. Supported devices
This software supports only the ONVIF cameras manufactured by Panasonic.
3-2. System requirements for a PC
It is recommended to install this software on a PC that meets the following system requirements.
|OS||Microsoft® Windows® 8 Professional 32-bit/64-bit *1
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Professional 32-bit/64-bit *1
|CPU||Intel® Pentium® 4 3.0 GHz or faster|
|Memory||1 GB or more|
|HDD||2 MB of disk space is necessary for installation of this software|
|Monitor||1,024 x 768 pixels or more, 24-bit True color or better|
|10/100 Mbps Network interface card must be installed *2|
|Others||Microsoft® .NET Framework 3.0 or later is required to run this software|
This software is designed based on the default style or the font size of Microsoft® Windows® 7.
It is not recommended to change the display style or the font size from the default.
The GUI of this software may not function as designed if one changed the display style or
the font size from the recommended default settings.
*2 The network settings on the PC must meet those of the network environment where the PC is connected.
This software needs no installation.
Download the software on a PC and uncompress the package.
Double-click on "ONVIFConfigurationTool.exe" to execute the program.
If this software becomes useless, then please delete downloaded files and download the original package again.

4. How to use this tool (Detailed instruction)"
4-1. Download and start the program.
There shows a PC screen after downloaded the software on a PC.
After double-click on "ONVIFConfigurationTool.exe" 1) to start the program, below screen shows up.
|(1) Start the software||1) Connect PC and cameras on the same network.|
|2) Double-click on "ONVIFConfigurationTool.exe" to start the program.|
|3)This software automatically searches cameras on the same network and displays discovered cameras on the device list panel.|
* If you want to search the cameras that are connected to the same network after starting this software, please click on [Search] button on the GUI.
|(2) Select the camera||1)Select the camera from the device list to configure ONVIF settings.|
|2) If the camera is selected, this software communicates to the selected camera and get the information of ONVIF settings and other.|
*If the camera needs user authentication, please input the required information before selecting the camera.
|(3) Select the media profile||
1)Select the media profile that you want to configure ONVIF settings.
This software displays the media profile configuration data when the user selects the media profile.
|(4) Configure ONVIF settings|
Changing media profile configuration.
1) Click the [Update] button after changing the media profile configuration.
After the [Update] button is clicked, this software communicates to the camera and updates the selected configurations to the media profile.
Edit configuration settings
1) Click [Edit] button that relates to the configuration.
The software will display the configuration edit window.
2) Click [Update] button after changing the settings on the configuration edit window.
After the [Update] button is clicked, this software communicates to the camera and changes the configuration settings.
