About the Vulnerability in Internet Explorer Could Allow Remote Code Execution

  • Microsoft has published on May 1, 2014 that the security update resolves a publicly disclosed vulnerability in Internet Explorer.

    Most customers have automatic updating enabled and will not need to take any action because this security update will be downloaded and installed automatically. But for Customers who do not have automatic updating enabled, please read the bulletin MS14-021 carefully and update it.

  • This is to explain about the aware of limited, targeted attacks that attempt to exploit a vulnerability in Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10, and Internet Explorer 11. The vulnerability is a remote code execution vulnerability.

    You do not need worry if you connect Panasonic products only.
    Please use another browser (other than the Internet Explorer) if you need to connect with other branded products, and please note that;
    - Add "/cam" after the domain name (or IP address) of the cameras
    ("/mobile" for BB-HCM series cameras).
    - We recommend you to use an application software instead of
    internet browsers such as WV-ASM200, BB-HNP17 etc.
